We had absolutely GORGEOUS weather. By 4 PM on Saturday, they had set an attendance record (closing was at 11 PM nightly). There was a free concert by Lee Greenwood on Friday and Lonestar on Saturday. Many food concessions closed early because they ran out of food. Normally, we will sell 1 1/2 semi truck trailers of corn. We nearly sold 2 (there were three skids left when I went home at 10:30). I'm hoping someone keeps my page up after I'm gone. My wife knows the password (I have three passwords that are used for every online account I have and she knows all three). It's sad to see old friends depart, but face it, we're not getting any younger. 53 is heading my way like a freight train.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I've been working at the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival, and when I say work, I'm not kidding. In four days, we clean, cook, and serve over 100,000 ears of sweet corn.

When I'm around, I usually pick up any I see as they are made, but I'm not on ICHC 24/7 : ) Very ambitious kittehs you got there! Not just a scientist, but a MAD scientist!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I was able to use the basic builder while on my Kindle, but it's just not the same. It felt really good to use speech & thought balloons this morning. We knew that eventually we were going to have to replace the computer. It was having some serious issues and was running on Windows XP. Being the packrat that I am, I hate to get rid of anything. Just recently I recycled our computer that was running Windows98 (hence the need for the book). This computer is running Windows10, so I hope I won't have any issues for a while.
