Oh poor, beautiful Lakota. That is the dog of a lifetime so I know you must be heartbroken. There have been times when I would sleep on the couch, but I decided any house I ever live in again will have the bedroom on the first floor. You don't have that as a choice. But, then, they couldn't jump on the bed either so unless someone wants to sleep on the floor (which I did with Ginger), there is always an issue. The biggest one is making sure they are comfortable, like you say. I know you will give him the best care possible. I have missed you too. I figured you were off creating your little heart out.
