CNN Uses the Game "Fallout" as Footage for a Report on Russian Hackers

It was recently announced that the United States was ousting Russian diplomats in connection to Russia's influence on the 2016 election.

In their coverage of the announcement CNN hilariously used footage of the Fallout hacking interface as B reel.

It appears that Fallout's interface is the latest visual to be adopted help drive the misconstrued mainstream narrative that cyberattacks are conducted by dark forces sitting in basements, mashing on keyboards as fast as possible while green text flashes across the screen.
