Therapy Doggo Saves A Life: Hats Off To Digby The Doggo (Twitter Thread)
Today we would like to share with you a very important story that we found while roaming through the depths of twitter. Digby is a full time service dog at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service in England. He is often used to diffuse difficult situations and helps crews who have been exposed to trauma during talking therapy.
When the Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a young woman considering taking her life, one of the service members had the amazing idea to bring in Digby the Diffuser. When Digby arrived on the scene, the young woman instantly smiled. She was offered the opportunity to play with Digby and she accepted, and in doing so her life was saved. Never underestimate the extent to which dogs can be therapeutic. The power of this awwmazing doggo literally saved a woman's life. We hope this person gets all the help she needs and deserves, and we are so thankful that Digby was there to help her! Digby gained quite a bit of twitter fame for his brave actions. Fellow doggos reached out to express their support for Digby! He was even offered a hot date! Way to go Digby, you are pawsitively awesome.

Digby, the legend himself! In all his floofy glory. Boopable nose, floof for days, we can see why they call him Digby the Diffuser. It's impossible not to smile while in the presence of such a magnificent and well trained doggo!

We have got to give a huge shout out to the fire crew that thought of bringing Digby to the scene. Digby also helps crews who have been exposed to traumatic situations- the crew is very familiar with the therapeutic powers of doggos.
