Universities are Adapting The "Pet Therapy" Trend
Never heard of it, well here you go. With the help of a furry friend, people can find love, comfort, happiness and especially relaxation. Trained therapy dogs increases happiness, lowers blood pressure, and improves overall well-being. With benefits such as those, its no wonder why some universities have decided to adapt the trend and open "Pet Therapy Programs". Sounds purrty awesome right? Well, it is! Students are encouraged to attend pet therapy when dealing with high stress. So usually during finals, midterms, papers, the basic school life… Feeling sorry for the dogs in the program? Don't worry the school is taking great care of them and many owners volunteer their pets to receive showers of cuddles and love all day long! We know, we know...WHERE WAS THIS WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL?!
