  • The Dalmatian endured a 13-and-a-half hour labour which began at 7am and didn’t finish until 8.30pm that night.

    Dalmatians breeder, Cecilia Langton-Bunker, said she thought Miley may have finished whelping at number 16 only to be astonished when two more puppies arrived.


  • It’s an amazing number of puppies when you think that the average sized litter for Dalmatians is eight or 10.

  • All of the puppies have been sold, including a rare pup born with a heart shaped spot over her eye.

    "I expect to get an empty nest feeling when they all start going to their new homes on July 22 because this is a very special litter," she said.

    "They have been a really healthy, happy, thriving litter from the time they were born which is largely because of their mum's dedication and perseverance, feeding them herself every four hours when they were first born."
