    Cat Video Live!

    Via: Cnbc

A touring two hour feline, high definition, film event that features "exclusive" cat footage... meaning? Cat videos that have never been posted or seen online. Whats better than that?

Oh ya, that comedian Carla Rhodes will be doing live commentary!

So, the tour starts this year in October. Its goal is to get to 70 North American cities over the next year. Tickets will be sold and around $30. They have even decided that the proceeds will go to Panthera, A Houston no-kill animal shelter, friends 4 life, and local animal shelters in the cities they will be visiting.

The Kitten Factory Presents is the production company behind the new tour. President Mark Dinerstein told CNBC, "First, nothing you see in the film is on YouTube {...} It is all original. You've never seen it before. Second you're engaging in a fun social gathering. Whether you're going with your friends or not, you're engaging with your community."

You think this is a crazy idea... well so do they! But, they also think that pets - especially cats - have the potential to be huge business opportunities.

According to American Pet Products Association, it was estimated that Americans spent around $63 Billion... Yes, we wrote Billion...on their pets and pet related activities in 2016. Not only that but internet stardom cats have been known to make money as well. In 2016, Internet Cat Video Festival in St. Paul, Minnesota brought in just over 10,000 people. CatConLA drew in at least 15,000 people. And well.. then theres Grumpy Cat. Grumpy Cat has earned a sponsorship from Friskies, not to mentions her own merchandise collection and even a lifetime movie, "Grumpy Cats Worst Christmas Ever."

Tour co-founder and filmmaker Eric Dorris told CNBC, "It's not a passing fad, [...] people aren't going to wake up one day and say 'we don't like cats'"

We couldn't agree more Eric! And all we have to say is... Take our money and let us see this movie!!!!
