Intelligent Automation Inc.'s Multi-Arm Unmanned Ground Vehicle is designed to do high-dexterity tasks like inspecting backpacks, tying knots and dealing with IEDs, but it also gives a halfway decent haircut.
A brave fellow named Tim volunteered to let the three-armed robot shave his head to raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation, a childhood cancer research charity, and everything went about as well as expected.
The robot was remotely controlled via laptop by a human operator, so any spots it missed can be blamed on human weakness. I, for one, welcome our new robot hairstylists.
