Two divers off the western coast of Australia came away unscathed after a terrifying run-in with a Great White shark. Dave Richards and Nathan Podmore were spear fishing when the shark crashed the party. It circled them a few times, cutting the two off from their boat. Armed only with their spears, Richards and Podmore could only poke at the shark to shoo it away.
A surfer off the same coast wasn't so lucky on Saturday, as he was bitten in half by Great White. Benjamin Linden, 24, was attacked by a shark estimated to be almost 16 feet long. It's the fifth shark fatality in this region of Australia in less than a year, and it's spurred lawmakers to consider removing the animal from the Protected Species list.
