  What will happen with V.A.T.S.?

  
  "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
  
  V.A.T.S. has been met with near-universal acclaim over the years, and has been the lynchpin of the combat system for the past two Fallout games.
  
  That said, will Bethesda leave it alone, or will they tinker with it in the hopes of making it better? It would be a risky manuever, but it could pay off big.

  Will we be able to play as a female protagonist?

  
  Rumors circulated before the reveal trailer that the main character would be a male, and that players would only be able to play as a female after completion of the main story. It sounds unlikely given Bethesda's track record of comprehensive attention to detail though.

  Are those the final graphics?

  
  Not minutes after the reveal trailer was released, neckbeards started going off about how the graphics looked PS2-worthy. What they failed to realize was that the graphics were simply compressed for the sake of trailer video fidelity. It wasn't the final product, and either way, it's Fallout, so you know it's going to be good.

  Will we be able to craft power armor?

  
  This shot of unfinished power armor in the reveal trailer was a major hint that we'll be able to construct our own duds, which is awesome. Hopefully the customization won't stop there and we'll be able to throw together our own ramshackle bits of raider armor.

  Will S.P.E.C.I.A.L. be used differently?

  
  Will charisma still be used in the same speech check system as previous installments? Will intelligence factor into how many points you receive after each level up? Will the level system even be point-based? Questions upon questions!

  Is this a "home base?"

  
  Skyrim had various homes, and Fallout 3 and New Vegas had houses and hotel rooms where you could take shelter, craft items, and place bobbleheads. Will Fallout 4 have the same but expanded type of setup where you can craft items and sleep far away from the raider hordes out to kill you? We hope so.

  Will we be able to play before the Great War happens?

  
  The reveal trailer hinted heavily at the beginning chapter of the game taking place in 2077, right before the bombs fell on October 23. How will the game's start play out? Some sources have hinted at the protagonist being cryogenically frozen for 210 years until 2287, when the majority of the game has been confirmed to take place.

  Is Fenway Park the new Citadel?

  
  Fallout 3 had the Pentagon, and while Fenway Park may be lacking an extra side, it still makes a perfect shelter for the Brotherhood of Steel. Other possible locations include Logan International Airport, MIT, or the Harvard campus.

  Will there be airships/other vehicles?

  
  Will we be able to board or guide the airship shown in the trailer? What about vertibirds? Will we be able to pilot those? The trailer showed a Brotherhood of Steel knight being carried off by one, so it's reasonable to assume that air transport will be in the game in some form.
