RIP Childhood of the Day: SpongeBob SquarePants -- presumably a man in a SpongeBob costume rather than the Bikini Bottom dweller himself -- was detained by LAPD officers following a "brief incident with two females" outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

He was questioned and released a short time later.
