Today I left a job where my coworkers have been consistently denigrating me on a weekly basis. One of the lab managers who has been working closely with me for a while took me out to lunch in celebrate getting out of a socially toxic environment and gave me a thank you card signed by everyone in the lab and was willing to be a job reference for future job hunts. Feeling appreciated in my professional capacity and feeling like I can actually move on and get a new job elsewhere MMD.
