Nearly seven years after his death, a portion of James Doohan's ashes made their way to outer space this morning. A privately owned rocket carrying food and other supplies to the international space station also carried the cremated remains of over 300 space fans, including Doohan, which will now orbit Earth for the next year or so.
We all miss you down here on Earth, Scotty. Glad you finally get to travel through space for real.
