Behold the "incredibly luminous and intense" African blueberry, which scientists say outshines any other plant or animal substance on the planet because it's full of light-refracting cells usually found in beetle shells or butterfly wings.
"We compared it with some other structural colors, such as the morpho butterfly wing, which is often described as the strongest structural color. This is stronger," said Cambridge's Ullrich Steiner.
