While you were getting over your Election Day hangover, the 2014 CMA Awards happened Wednesday night, and hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood kicked off the show, in part, by making a bunch of political jokes.
They covered everything from the Ebola nurse speaking out about quarantine in Maine, President Obama, the White House fence jumpers and, of course, the Democrats losing the Senate, which resulted in a huge applause fromt he CMA crowd.
But it wasn't all politics, the two also poked fun at Taylor Swift's departure from country music, Renee Zellweger's face, and the nude photo scandal.
