From Montreal Gazette:

A group of Montreal researchers have found a planet that's floating free in space four light-years from the nearest star. It's not clear if the planet in fact ever had a star. A huge gas giant the size of Jupiter, but probably weighing four to seven times Jupiter's weight, it was found with an infared telescope--the planet is about 400 C.
