Earlier this morning, an employee of Twitter's recently launched video sharing app Vine accidentally placed a six-second NSFW video titled "Dildoplay" to the top of every user's newsfeed as an "Editor's Pick." The clip was taken down after a few hours and a Twitter spokesperson issued an apology blaming it on "human error." Following the controversy, Apple removed Vine from the App Store's list of featured apps and in order to prevent a full removal on Apple's end, Twitter then blocked several search terms that would potentially lead to pornographic images.
