Several members of the Ukrainian women's rights group Femen bared their breasts in front of Russian President Vladimir Putin at a trade fair in Germany yesterday in protest of the persecution of the Russian punk band Pussy Riot. Putin was photographed giving one of the women two thumbs-up (shown left), later remarking "as to this action, I liked it." Kremlin spokeman Dmitry Peskov later called the stunt "ordinary hooliganism," urging the German government to punish the women for the protest.
