It's been four years since Cliff Bleszinski's last game, Gears of War 3. Since then he left Epic Games, started his own studio Boss Key Productions and has been relatively out of the spotlight.
LawBreakers marks his return to the scene. Although the trailer doesn't show any in-game footage, it presents an foreign, evolved world dealing with the fallout of an external disaster.
If you flip that to internal disaster, it sounds a whole heck of a lot like Gears of War's Emergence Day.
LawBreakers was announced as Project Bluestreak July 2014, but we haven't seen anything other than some pre-alpha footage until now.
It will be a free-to-play, arena first person shooter. And according to the trailer, it's coming next year.
