Fatty

This is Fatty. Yes, that is the cat's real name. When we got Fatty as a kitten, we were told it was a boy. He was named Edward Scissor-paws. When the time came to get him neutered, we got a call from the vet: "Um... there's nothing to neuter... Your Edward is an Edwina?" So she got spayed and a new name: Edra. Edra decided that she really liked laying around doing nothing during her recovery from surgery so she continued to be a lazy cat (perhaps she was also pouting about the gender confusion thing, after all it was a vet that identified her as a boy to begin with...), gained a little weight and earned the nickname 'Fatty'. She was called 'Fatty' so much that now 6 years later Fatty is the only name she knows.
