Here's your daily reminder to always treat other with kindness, because you never know what they might be going through.
Paige Yore uploaded this video of herself to Facebook, describing a trip to Walmart that's enough to bring just about anybody to tears. Yore was in line at the store when a woman ahead of her began yelling at a young cashier who was visibly struggling at work. She stepped in and asked the woman to step aside, when the young cashier stepped out from behind the checkstand and hugged Yore. He confided in her, saying "Ma’am, my mom just committed suicide this morning… and I have to work because I have to pay our rent, and I have to pay our bills. And I don’t even have a mom anymore. And this lady is just yelling at me."
The video has been viewed more than 14 million times on Facebook over the weekend, and Yore is now trying to track the young man down in response to the huge outpouring of help and hope the video has received. If found, Yore hopes she and the internet will be able to help him through this trying time.
As Yore so perfectly put it, this experience is a reminder that "ou never know who's fighting what battle. Watch what you say."
