Honestly I made this picture to display the beautiful Vectors in the Pokedex IOS. However it does get on my nerves that there are so many racial stereotypes in pokemon, in the end it ends up being pretty funny but I mean come on Sugimori just quit it. Braviary: The Japanese wouldn't dare mock a red white and blue eagle pokemon with horrendous looks out of fear of getting another atom bomb dropped on them, but seriously it is plainly clear that Braviary is the American pokemon found in the U N Of A. Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan: Now you could argue that hitmonlee looks stupid and you would probably be right, but obviously you look at these pokemon and see the Japanese portraying themselves with cool fighting pokemon based off of legendary fighters. Jynx: If you don't agree with this one than you need to go through your pokemon history, it is a well accepted fact that Jynx was designed upon a busty african american woman who is rather chummy in nature. Is it a coincidence that Nikki Minaj ended up looking exactly like this, probably but just be reading any of Jynx's Pokedex Enteries you can see that she mimics a slutty woman of any race, unfortunately her face was originally black which to me suggest that she was based off of what I think she was based off of. Ludicolo: This one is not nearly as bad as Jynx or Scrafty but Ludicolo clearly portrays a fat Mexican/ mexican american, presumably drunk and dancing around while wearing a sombrero. Scrafty: This is the worst offender of them all, because to be honest, though it may seem that I am racist myself from what I have written here, I actually do care about trying to put a stop to racial inequality. Scrafty, where its Dark Typing clearly means Dark as in evil just like all Dark Type pokemon it is horribly coincidental that this pokemon essentially ended up being Trayvon Martin; It hangs around in gang settings, it mugs people, it wears a hoodie, and sags its pants, and it also has fighting type. To me that is just the stereotypical african american, and where a vast population of the african americans in america are like scrafty it was still a low blow to make this hoodlum pokemon so similar to african americans. Now you could argue that I am over-thinking this and it is just a child's videogame, and that is probably the case but it seems a little bit too similar for me. I'm wondering if we'll have a french stereotype pokemon in X and Y, although you could say that Empoleon already fills that role. 3 good portrayals of Races and 3 bad portrayals of races
