This video was released as part of the $5 million campaign to bring tourists and businesses to Rhode Island. Unless you're from Rhode Island, or maybe Iceland it can be hard to tell that one of these pieces of generic stock footage is actually from the city of Reykjavik.
This scene is not in Rhode Island, it's in front of the Harpa concert hall, which some social media users quickly noticed did not belong there. Officials say the editing company made a mistake and will be fixing it at no additional cost. That doesn't mean it hasn't attracted some ridicule on the internet.
