Among one of the kindedst acts on the internet this past weekend was this video of Best Buy employees giving a teen his own Wii U after noticing that he came in to play it every day.
From Best Buy employee Rahiem Storr:
“This kid came in every single day to play the display Wii U, the employees in this store saw an opportunity to make a child smile and did just that. They chipped in and purchased a Wii U for him with their own money. This is amazing, why shop at Amazon when you have genuine people in this world that you can continue to help keep a job.”
The gifting came accross as a little awkward and the teen seemed reluctant to revieve the gift, which brought up concerns among viewers about the teen's home life and whether or not the gift might be a double edged sword. Voicing that the teen might have been visiting the store so frequently to escape a rough home life, an escaoe which the employees accidentally had taken away.
Regardless, it's incredible to see thesee acts of kindness around the holidays and we hope everyone can be inspired by acts like this.
