Praise the hash brown and bacon Gods, McDonald's is serving all-day breakfast!
The company announced today that the over 14,300 U.S. restaurants will serve breakfast at all hours starting Oct. 6.
McDonald's has been testing the idea in select San Diego, Nashville and Mississippi stores for six months, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Several challenges, like installing new equipment and maintaining fast delivery speeds, were brought up as issues. But the company is looking for breakfast to help stop a steady decline in revenue.
The way McDonald's made the announcement was pretty clever. The official McDonald's Twitter account responded to old tweets from customers who asked for all-day breakfast.
