I don't know how I just saw the message you posted last month asking about jobs in Florida. I am sooo sorry for not getting back to you in a timely manner! I live in the panhandle, but I'll tell you a couple of things that will help you out as long as you're in a decent sized city. 1) Check job listings on craigslist. There are literally dozens posted every day (for my city) and you can find some really good positions listed there. 2) Put together a resume, and post it on Monster. Again, if you are in a decent sized city and you have a good work history you WILL get phone calls from potential employers. 3) Good teachers are in demand in Florida, so your wife shouldn't have trouble finding a position. I'd recommend she do some research into the schools of whatever city you'd like to move to, make a list of the ones she'd most like to work for, and start feeling out if there are any openings. There are a lot of hispanics in Florida, so English teachers who are qualified to teach it as a 2nd language are really important in many areas. If you have any other questions, drop me a line :)

Hey, you wouldn't happen to know of any jobs in Florida, would you? I've wanted to move there for a while. I'll soon have a Master of Arts degree in Chemistry, and I'm hoping to do at least some outdoor work. My girlfriend has a teaching license for the state, too, and she's qualified to teach English as a Second Language. If there's any help or info you could give, I'd be grateful.

Hi cheezy friend, sorry for the late reply! I miss Hawtness also, but I'm running my own blog now so that's fun. I suppose your g/f is happy though, lol. I'm not associated with the military. I'm originally from Birmingham, AL but I grew up visiting Pensacola often and I love the beaches here so as soon as I was able, that's where I ended up! Hope you're doing good and having a great week :)

Hello, cheezfriend... We meet again. I see you still outnumber me in collectibles in your possession, and collectibles given. But I am doing my best to catch up! I truly mourn the loss of Hawtness, and admire your contributions to the site. (My girlfriend hated the site, though.) I see you are from Pensacola. Are you a military wife? (Or military yourself?)
