Ah, busy bee. Distances don't work out for Mile Ohai Cittee to be a night stop, or even close to it. Also, going through western CO and UT is tricky, I have trouble breathing at higher elevations, particularly over ten thousand feet. That would be Vail Pass and the Continental Divide. Last trip driving west from Denver/climbing over Vail Pass and the Continental Divide gave me chest pains, I was dying to get on the other side of the Eisenhower Tunnel. This time I was thinking, going through higher elevations in UT (but not too high) would help acclimate ahead of time. (IOW eastbound from UT instead of westbound from Mile Ohai.) I was willing to take a gamble to meet and to see UT again, a gorgeous state, but now I'll probably re-route to a lower route further south. (I need to be somewhere by the weekend, I'll never make it if I stop in Denver. On the way back...I'd need a commitment before I change that trip.
