I unnerstand about being cramped inna tent, I'm 6'2" and and over 250 lbs so I bought a 4 man Timberline by Eureeka and made certain it had the two doors and two vestibules. It's a good size for two people. Its lot to carry, over 10 pounds all told, but I carry the tent and my wife carries the vestibule, fly, and poles (BTW when the time comes, marry a woman who camps, the rest are girls who say ewww). The tent has never leaked and with the two doors it's possible to store yer gear outside of one but under the vestibule and use the other door fer entering and leaving. If you have both vestibules you can crawl into the tent and sit while taking your boots off outside (again under the vestibule). In foul weather you can even fire up a small camp stove in the vestibule because it has a smoke tube.
