We celebrate our Thanksgiving in Canada very much earlier than you do in the states -- and I did indeed have a good one, a week after the day at the church -- a harvest supper. I liked the notions of the kitties having their Own turkey! How thoughtful! I have the suet feeder out now that it is a Lot colder here (though no doubt warmer than where you are) and the Juncos are currently fighting over position on the thing. Given just how fat they are ... no snowfall yet, but very heavy frost and most of the ski resorts on the mainland and here on the Island have opened early. Hope you are feeling better! I have just come off of 6 weeks of some sort of bug, prior to My flu shot!

Many thanks for the panda! Hope all is well at your end of the country!

Thank you so very much for the reflecting glass for the Yaris set! And a very, very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, m'dear!

Both of you get the flu shot. And hopefully, the State will wake up before someone's family files a law suit. Unfortunately, that is all to likely to be the wakeup call. While not as bad hear, it is becoming that way.

Good God! I certainly hope that they don't get a run of viral pneumonia where your poor husband works! And with the insane hours and under staffing that you mentioned, the employees are sitting ducks for anything that goes around. My heart sincerely goes out to you both. Strep throat is never nice and I have had several times in my lifetime. Hopefully, your dear hubby will not give it to you -- maybe you should consider some preventative antibiotics yourself?

I have awful memories of strep throat as a child! And in Colorado Springs, too! The injections were painful, as delivered by military medics. Hope your husband is feeling more the thing and glad to hear that you are, too!

Thank you SO much! I have been getting duplicates for the past 3 days of the same items and was hoping a Cheez Friend would come through -- and you did! Hope you are feeling better and better every day!

Do smile, m'dear ... it does help, if only for a short while. Bulbs need a cold spell before planting, which is why they are generally planted in the fall. If you live in a warm climate, you need to store the bulbs in your fridge for a bit, before planting them. The ones that did not come up may very well come up next year and the one that has is making lots of food for flowers, again, probably next year. Big Hug to you!

Thank you for the formal wear! I am so sorry that you have lost two beloved friends in such a short period of time. The reality is that you have not lost them; they will remain in your heart always. Plant some special flowers, that will return year after year in your garden, to honour their memories.

I was so sorry to read of Jay's passing. It is never easy to lose an beloved animal companion. Thinking of you.

You may know this already, m'dear, but there is a new Simon's Cat film available on YouTube, called "Hop It". I found it on the London Daily Mirror, but the edges are clipped there. You have to go to the view item and then click the link in the right side bar to get directly to YouTube. You subscribe, I believe, so it will be no problem for you! Happy Easter!

Marcel le Plume is a Brown Maine Coon cross and is quite the character. As he is an old cat, he has taken to sleeping on the keyboard of my laptop, with interesting reconfigurations to the desktop! Macsen, my Red Mac Tabby is a purebred Coonie and is huge! Bit of a Bubble Brain, though -- which I do call him. He has such fine, silky hair, which he appears to be able to shed at will. And he is very much like a Simon's Cat a good part of the time. Love the strip!

Thank you! The London Daily Mirror has picked up Simon's Cat as a daily strip. There is a link to the Mirror on Simon's site. My favourite film is "Fly Guy" -- just like my young Maine Coon -- the path of the tornado!

Thank you so much for the 300 baud modem! After nabbing the initial two from this set, I have not seen any of the others since! Most appreciated!
By Isis1066 on Mar 27, 2011 at 12:00 PM
Thank you for the bird! Hopefully, he is only napping!
By Isis1066 on Mar 26, 2011 at 12:43 PM
Thank YOU! I particularly like this set because it is so true to cat!
By Isis1066 on Mar 9, 2011 at 8:16 PM
Have you seen the latest one? Sticky Tape? Too funny! The cartoons in the Mirror are so true to cat! One of the most recent ones has a quasi Egyptian theme, which you will enjoy, m'dear!

The "Big Mac" is indeed gorgeous! And the chair he is posed on is a normal sized chair - he just occupies the entire space.
