Thank you. I had the last treatment today, and that was what started me thinking about compassion. These people in the oncology center tread a fine line between compassion and businesslike and I think they really need to do this. Some of the people they see are so fragile, and you see them getting more sick as the treatments go on. I saw one man today and he looked so healthy and perky, and my guides whispered to me... he won't feel this way one week from now....as in he was just beginning his treatments. I know my housemate and I, in our bright colors and crystals must seem like something wild and strange to some of the people who are there going through their own treatments, but it is who we are, and the staff always seem to respond well to all our ways of coping with the circumstances. Bird realized today that I really needed her to come down to the room and hug me before I got on that table today. I am so glad she did.
this is wonderful Tina. Just the photo itself echoes compassion all over it. I sometimes wonder what happened to us as a species that we seem so defficient these days in compassion. I know people become harder when life itself is difficult or when they have experienced too little compassion themselves. I guess this just echoes into a dream I had during my post radiation therapy sleep.

Not to fret..."our" video is still new. ;o) I've noticed some glitches with the announcement system, and not long ago one of my LOLz got an announcement it had been promoted to SIX different FPs. Weirdness! It keeps life interesting.

OH MY CEILING CAT - THANK YOU!!!!!! I cannot believe you did that - I am floored and honored and humbled and sooooo freaking grateful that you'd turn your talents to my stuff. I just don't even wanna know how much time you sepnt on that project. YOU. RAWK!! *hugshugshugs*
