Hi MaineFan! Just thought I'd tell you that the wedding went off "without a hitch," as they say. There was some hilarity regarding the flowers, which were MIA at the start of the ceremony. Someone found them at the back of the church, and got our bouquets to me and my MOH, but the guys had to wait for their boutonnieres until after the ceremony. Mom didn't get her corsage until then, either. The funny part was when Father Steve went to the Sacristy where the flowers were brought after discovery to get the bouquet for the Blessed Virgin, but ended up bringing out my mother's corsage, instead. I whispered, "wrong mother, Father..." The people in the sanctuary who could hear me started cracking up. The congregation wondered what was so funny. All in all, a great day!

Thank you, Karen! Lots of crazy last minute stuff comes up on things like this. I just found out that the programs for the service I had printed had a significant typo, so back to the drawing board, and print service again!! I misspelled the priest's name! I know him as Father Steve... not Stephen Downes... LOL! *puts imaginary floofy paw to face in embarrassment*

Hi Cheezfriend! You are most welcome for the collectible! I just visited your profile and saw you needed that. As for SB weather, it's our typical June. Foggy until noonish, and then humid and warm. Fog comes back after sunset. In the early AM it's difficult to see across the street. It should dry out and get warmer by end of month/July. Just in time for my wedding! Don't know if I told you, but I'm getting married 7/16. Hope all is well in your world, Karen. Glad to read that you got your furry friend back. :) Linda
