Lol! I know what you mean...omg, if I get one more baseball mitt...! I think the key is the time you get here. I have the impression if you stop by here at night you'll get different ones that you usually do. Not sure how they dole those collectibles out. Being on here late at night, though, isn't my thing, and it always works out with what I get and others send me. :-) Glad you're FINALLY getting a taste of summer. It's hot and humid here now, and I'm still digging holes for plants. At least I'm almost done with the BIG holes! Yay! :-)

High of 48??? *faint* That's a looong cool spell you're having. I would have a depressed....lol! Still working on my shade bed. It's been raining so much it's tough to get out there and finish it. But, still happy it's been pretty warm. Glad the tornadoes missed us, too. More coming tonight for the Midwest; I'm keeping the Joplin folks in my prayers.

Oh Cape Cod is lovely ! Used to live just north sbrbn Boston & when the kids were actually little ( a long time ago) , did some of the wintah break stuff in Feb there. They had lotsa hotel specials . As for "up" heah ; Well , Aug/Sep still really is the best time 4 Maine, cuz it's lucky if summah even stahts bafore tha 4th July Pahrade in Thomaston. & That's 4 a temp ovah 70 degrees. Usually lasts a month or so.....

By MaineServant on Apr 10, 2011 at 7:16 PM

I bet ur rite, I would luv Aug/Sep, but I'd prolly luv summer up there more! You're so blessed to live near the ocean! I LOVE the ocean; growing up I spent my summers in Cape Cod. The sounds of waves are wonderful music. Funny thing about MaineCoons, they're supposed to love the water. Neither of mine do. They hate it as much as any other cat! Lol!

By mingo2u on Apr 10, 2011 at 6:25 PM

Oh Maine coon cats are sooo fantastic !!!! Someday I would love to have one .... for now so funny, we keep getting adopted by other kitties ! They just show up except for the 1 @ the shelter for 1 1/2 yrs who wouldn't let us leave w/o her. We were there cuz we had an 17 yr ol adopterd who wasn't happy w/ the 2 mos adopterd, so we literally needed a buffer . Happily we got targetd by a 'shy' tuxedo who never postured before. "Weathah's cold" right now we're still waitin on spring. We did get to do a stroll along an ocean front rd t'day, it's 'bout 15 min walk to Waterman Beach. That's St. George Penninsula, just south of Rockland ( tha big city of approx 7.000.... yep :) You'd love August/Sept.!

Ohai, mingo! Thanx for extending teh floofy paw ub frenships. Yeah, I think we're running in pretty much the same friend circles; I see your name across my DB a lot. Love your lolz! Wow, Maine is REALLY far north! How do you like it as opposed to the midwest? Are you near the ocean? The "Maine" in my name comes from MaineCoons. I have two of them to whom I am a servant. I've never been to the state of Maine....prolly a little too chilly for me! :-)

By mingo2u on Apr 10, 2011 at 5:42 PM
