I keep hearing about growing old gracefully. Ha! Now I don't know who the marketing guru was who floated that balloon, but I can tell you that I sound like a bowl of rice crispies when I first start moving in the morning!

Thanks, I was in a mood I guess ; ). 3 of my cats are Basement Cats, I love their golden eyes...each one of them have a different personality.

ok. my cat missy is always asleep on the back of the sofa and nearly always tries to roll over and falls off! she never was very bright. both my cats are the complete opposite of each other. missy isnt very smart, she is quite furry and fat, not very strong but likes a good fight. sox on the other hand is very smart muscular, skinny, hardly any fur on belly, when it comes to fighting she is a wimp

Hiding in the closet, huh? Mamma Lady used to cower (and howl) in the shower during storms if we were not in bed. I swear to you that I could see all three cats laughing! What kind of surgery did they do on your neck? About 10 years ago, the surgeons fused 4 levels of my cervical vertebae - everything between and including C3-C4 to C6-C7. Degerative disc disease and arthritis, yuk! Aging sort of sucks, doesn't it?

Before the county started using rolli-bins for trash day, the coyotes would roam openly down the streets on the day, looking for bags full of bones and chewies. We dont see them so much anymore, but they can be heard in the middle of the night. Neighbor cat got caught out last year, they even heard her screaming while the coyotes howled. Their new cat still goes out. I dont blame the coyotes, they just do what they are here for, but I do have to wonder about the hoomans that "own" her. I think I might try to find a way to make them a suggestion. Question, how to do so in a way that they can hear.
