Hi Robin, been away for too long so decided to catch up on some of the goodies. What did you think about SC beating the daylights out of the UCLA bruins, I loved it and so happy they won. 20,000 seats were empty at the Rose Bowl, fans wete too chicken to show up and see their team get slaughtered. Made my day, SC started off real bad. fist game lost to Alabama (No. 1 team) expected them to lose to them, but they ended up with 8 straight games won, hope this SC team will be like the Pete Carroll team he coached when he was there. BTW, like yur paintings.

"browse" and find what you want in your file." - - how do I create a file? - - do I even have a file? how do I get my photo to upload from Windows to CHZBRGR, there is a step missing for me, I am an old woman who needs step-by-step instructions. How do I transfer my photo to CHZBRGR? Sorry, Red-Robin. Can I get help from anyone on this? PLZ? Would appreciate it greatly, and be able to do it before I die. (snort-snort) <:o)

One reporter called their colors Garnet cardinal and gold. There are many shades of cardinal, but he called it correctly, it is more of a garnet shade then a bright red.

USC did it again!!! Nail-biter till the very end. The team is fighting with confidence and having fun. Hope they beat Eva Bruin's butt!!! Did you see the UCLA game last week? They had on black uniforms, black shoes, black socks and black helmets. Talk about a dark, evil team!! And their regular blue jerseys, are a lot darker this year, they had always been sky blue, now they're almost dark aqua. Hope SC doesn't change theirs.

Yeah I looked it up on the Net after I wrote you. The photo showed they had pink helmets, pink shoes, pink gloves and maybe pink sox. But what do you expect from them, they have, what . . 12, 15 uniforms? And most of them are outrageous. They must have plenty of money to have so many.

It might've been too iffy for the officials, but they kept showing the replay over and over again, with the commentators pointing out that his knee was down before the placed the football over the line, and Pete kept jumping up and down yelling at the officials. But they didn't even look his way, totally ignored him - I was ALSO jumping up and down in front of the TV but they said it was a TD - when it wasn't. So I say SC got cheated, unfairly I might add. Texas might've gotten another TD after they ruled that this one was not, but it certainly wasn't this one - at least not according to the replay.

Checking the Bleacher Report, they had a photo of the Oregon Ducks on the field, they wore shocking pink helmets and black uniforms. How far is this team going on ridicky outfits? Maybe they were getting ready for Halloween.(smirk-smirk)

The only reason they lost to Texas was because the officials counted a TD when Young had gone down by his knee touching the ground, Pete kept trying to bring it to their attention, the replay showed he was already down, they showed that play over and over, yet they called it a TD. SC got cheated and should have won the game and the title, not them. Texas is doing badly, their football coach might get fired. Wonder what ever happened to Young. Did he get signed on by a team?

Yeah, I tried to watch it but it was so boring and I was fighting sleep, so I went to bed, I was surprised the score was the same as when I saw it last. Trojans need help! Poor guys, they've been through a lot! It was on channel 12 at my end, ND's games are always on that channel. Last week SC's game was on ESPN, channel 4. I am not enthused as I've been in previous years. As long as I get to see a little bit of the games, I'm OK with it. The older I get, the less I can stay up late, I fall asleep sitting up, which I never did before. Get uncomfortable, so I just go to bed after fighting to stay awake afraid I'll miss something. Looks like I didn't miss anything last night. Was afraid SC would rack up the penalties.

Weren't we friends before? I was friends with someone from Burbank whose father went to SC, yet that woman had never gone to a home game. When your request came up and I saw your name, it reminded me of that person.

I checked Ask.com - Oregon Ducks has 12 football uniforms with 48 different combinations of jerseys, pants and helmets.

Whenever ducks had the ball, I got nervous because they run so fast - like cockroaches!!Dart this way then that way while running like their life depends on it. For a long time, their runners have been short, thin and run like they are jet propelled. They have a good running game and SC defense had a bit of trouble with it. But in the end, it was their kicker that let SC have the game.

I take it you haven't seen the proposed NEW SC uniforms? The have a maroon jersey with maroon shiny pants that don't match the jerseys. PLUS a black helmet with gold emblem - way too different and does not look like a USC uniform - quite ugly!!! Most fans will not like them. Ducks have had different uniforms for years now, they choose depending what team they will be playing against.

One more to go, Eva Bruin will be toast! Great game against the ducks - scary 4th quarter, but the best team won! Yayy-yaah!!! Wonder what pranks will be played on campuses this year - last year SC poured red dye in ucla's fountains. Note to NCcharmer, are you north or south?

Watched the 4th quarter of the Wake Forest/Clemson game this afternoon and saw on the ticker tape that the SC/Ducks game will be televised on the ABC channel, hope they plan on televising it in my area. I know the SC/UCLA game will, they always show it.

Yes, he is. The little darlings keep improving, I didn't expect them to get this good in such a short time!!! But what's up with Barkley, he's been off his mark. Did you read/hear that a reporter said UCLA should thank SC for giving them a chance for a bowl bid? That they would not be in that position if SC was eligible.

Hi, you're welcome and NO, the game was not televised in my area!!! That is two games I missed that turned out to be great. :o( Checked to see if they were going to show a "taped" version, they were, but only with California channels and again, not here. Had to read about it on the net accessing the L A TIMES sports section. It sounded like a great game. I hope I get to watch the last two games. I was worried the dawgs were going to be a problem. At first the ticker had SC-37 to Wash - 17 final. Then they had, SC-40 to Wash 17. Did get to watch the Stanford/Oregon "live" game, that was a good one also. I hope the Ducks are so full of themselves that SC can take advantage of them, or at least make them work for their score. Fight On, SC !!!

The Stanford tree is not their mascot, it is the BAND'S icon. Stanford does not have one, they were the Indians, but dropped the name in 1977 due to insulting Nav. Americans, they didn't pick a mascot, so the school referred to them as the Cardinal because it was a school color, so it stuck. Will find out how the band picked the tree for their own mascot.

I don't know where they get a pine tree as their mascot when they are the Cardinal. I remember when they were the Indians?? Redskins??? Changed their name because they got a lot of flack from the Native Americans - but why The Cardinal - gave me the impression of the Pope, or something religious like that. Hehehehe That Tommy Trojan can cut that tree in half with his mighty sword - what can a tree do to Tommy? Shed pine needles on him??? You have a b-day coming up - Happy Birthday in advance!!! I know SC wants to win every game from here on, I hope they make it, at least they'll try. After Saturday, now the Naysayers cannot talk bad about SC. Have you given it some thought about attending a game anytime soon? There is nothing like being there in person, you get to see things that are not televised, the atmosphere is unreal!!! UCLA had this flashcard or flip card ??? thing that spelled their name in script, that was very impressive the way they did it, yet it was never shown on TV. And when Tommy Trojan rode Traveler around the field, UCLA would throw rolls of toilet paper at them, then one time they spoked the horse and Tommy stayed out of their way.

I saw live coverage of the game as it was happening so there were fewer commercials. I even saw the horse and shots of the stadium with the torch lit. I think SC should give it their all just to spite them. Did you notice Stanford's mascot? It's a tree with a stoopy face on it. USC has a knight in shining armour -that shows they have class. I'm 66 and I'll be 67 on the 20th of November.
