Goats do indeed eat just about anything, but it would take a huge herd of them to keep up with these plants, and by then they would have eaten everything else in sight too.

We have ivy and kudzu problems. Both can certainly take over in a hurry!

In California we plant ivy and then regret it. I suppose you have the same problem with the kudzu vine.

I think I didn't recognize her because I haven't seen pictures of her as she has aged. The other living TOS actors are more in the public eye, and I've seen them all along. I'm sorry your one cat is perhaps at the "gate." May it be a long time yet before he or she goes through it. My three cats are all elders too, so the "gate" is much on my mind these days.

It has been almost 50 years since Star Trek premiered so what else do you expect? This seems to be the only time NN appeared in public recently. Wonder if the president is a Trekkie. We have two elderly cats now, but I think one is at the "gate". The other still behaves like a healthy young cat.

Oh, my! I am ashamed to say I didn't even recognize Nichelle N. I saw the vulcan hand gesture and still didn't get it. I'm staring at the photo now and would still have no clue if you hadn't told me. She just doesn't look like Uhura at all. I guess I will have to relinquish my Trekker title. I'm sorry your black kittehs are at the Rainbow Bridge now, but I'm happy you have such sweet memories of both (I can't count either--should have said two, not three, in the first message) of them.
