Hotchkiss is on the Western end of the state, more toward the bottm, Denver is North central. Takes 6ish hours to get to Denver from Hotchkiss, which is why the housing market is not as insane. (Still much higher than a few years ago, but possible to do.)

Ah...excuse me for "eavesdropping." Out of curiosity, I looked up Bailey and Hotchkiss. Pretty, but when I asked Google for directions to Denver it said "Can't find a way there." That is not a good sign...probably means the roads are closed by snow. Purring for better luck for you!
