I read the story and now am even more speechless. Muriell, how do you do it? Rescue these poor abandoned babies, care for them so thoroughly, weep when some pass on and then have your heart broken when the healthy move on? You, my dear, have my greatest respect. It's now my fervent wish to come into great gobs of money so I can support your efforts, perhaps establish an emergency vet center there in County Cork...I must buy more lottery tickets and write better stories...!
