Ooooh Nooooo....Jan and Feb in England were always the worst months to get through ... Chrissie done, spring not here yet, serious hangovers and detoxing to do in the rain/snow/blizzard. But you so right - the UK hearts are really warm - and the sense of humour worth every drop of blizzard. You got the best TV minds and progs in the world too - so whats 2 months of bone chilling frost bite to worry about anyway!

Actually, I miss it most around your summertime (those 1 or 2 days, hee hee). There's just something sooo magical about everyone looking so cheerful cos its warm and the sky's such a soft lovely blue, really special time. Mind you, my gal friend from the UK tells me that super sales start on the 22nd Dec....I'm tempted to fly over to shop the day before Xmas, ha ha!

Hi Phil - Gosh, I haven't been on CB for weeeeeks - and I'm havin withdrawills!!!!!!! I've got a friend visiting from the UK (Poole) and it's a real treat, but we been sooooooo busy. Recession??? WHAT recession??? Everyone just wants to BOUNCE! I do pop in evry now 'n then for a quick peek at the crazy kitty lols, but... Oh no! Client didn't push me. I went into work today while I had ideas in my head, I didn't have to, but wanted to present something on Monday and I'm pleased with the reworked design so I think they will be too. It's rare that they reject anything! They are lucky that I can decipher their stoopid briefs. *tut tut* ...... BTW I love the YOUNG chap thing, hehehehe .... but here in Cheezland, we're all the same age! *hugs*
Ooooh - I'm 2 years older than you YOUNG chap. Don't you just hate it when it's weekend and clients want improvements on their designs!!! Whats wrong with Monday? They're perfectly boring days, nice and long and just waiting for inspired improvements to make on last Fridays tired work! Don't they GET IT!!!
Hello my sun baked friend. Yeah I'm chilling right now, went into work today to improve a design that our client wasn't happy with. ... Well, I hope your planting works out OK, I don't have a clue about which goes where, I just love their beauty. I am always in awe of flowers, plants and trees! .... BTW,"old chap" is OK but then so is "young chap" hehehehehe .... I'm somewhere in-between ... ..... ..... I'm Twenty Two and a half! TWICE !!!!
Hullo there old chap (!!!or young chap). Hows your w/end? Are you chilling out nicely? I just been to the nursery and came home with a HEAVING car full of plants ..... and then COMPLETELY forgot which went where???: which ones need lot's/littles of drainage/water/sun/space etc! So me and my daughter just zoned into each ones "vibe" and put them where we thought they wanted to go (she did however choose the prettiest ones for her fairy garden). Seems to be working so far.
