A lot of times, folks send a message with a link to a LOL that's mostly a greeting card, like "Happy Halloween" or something like that. Some are LOLs inviting me to participate in LOL contents or themes. And some folks like to send a link to a LOL that they think is particularly funny. For those, we created a bulletin board. It's a user profile named echopoint. So, if someone wants to advertise a LOL that they think is really funny, they put a link to it in a message to echopoint. Usually, if you see a message to me that is a link to a LOL, the person also sent that link to many of their other friends too.
Ohai Benny. I think the IHAH book is due to come around April. Once you have sent them the permission form, I would not expect to hear from them again until the book is out. Mike

Nah, I don;t have a myspace. My wife does, but I wouldn't have time to deal with it. I haven;t had a chance to look through all of your LOLs yet. I have looked at some. There were some that made me laugh, and some that did not. In one respect, that's pretty typical, since that the way it works with the best LOLlers on the site. In another respect, it's very impressive since most 11 year olds don't make many LOLs that make me laugh. Originality is always impressive. Try to make captions that haven't already been done for a particular picture. After you make a LOL, you can choose, "view all captions" and see what someone else did. If I do that and find someone already did just about the same caption, I delete mine. Again, you've done some good stuff. Keep up the good work! I'll look at some others later. Need to go and do real world stuff for a while right now.
Now that's pretty cool too! Front page congratulations! You are the youngest user that I have seen get a front pager. There are lots of adults on the site who have submitted hundreds of LOLs and never got there. So, that's pretty special that yours got there.
That's really cool, Benny. Like I said, she's an adorable puppy. Actually, my basset is going to be in the book (tentatively) as well. It's the picture that appears as my avater off to the left there. I want to warn you though, that book selections have not been finalized yet. The editor has made preliminary selections, and it sounds like your puppy is one of the preliminary selections. Once they get done making the layout of the book, the final selections have to be approved, so they could leave either one of our puppies out. Probably not though, cuz they are both really cute doggies!
