We've had plenty of rain (it's raining now!) and while we've had warm temperatures, it is just a couple weeks from the first day of summer. Sounds like your vacation was pleasant. Hope your summer cools off a little. Best wishes for a pleasant summer!

I am so sorry about your dog! It's amazing how God's little creatures can so gently percolate themselves into your life. We had a tiny kitten with a congenital defect; didn't live a month and when she died our whole family grieved. If an animal loves you, it's because it is loved *by* you, so don't feel as if you slighted your dog. I know what you mean about the weather, though; we had 7 inches of snow last weekend and now it's all virtually gone.

Good to hear from you. Family is fine though my wife's job is shaky. Our pets have grown by one; we 'rescued' a big old male cat when the weather got cold and he's now wiggled his way into our home and lives. Girls still taking some college classes and both employed so over all, we're doing well. Sorry about the family problems and I am hopeful they'll be resolved to your satisfaction. Doing well. I had a daughter in the hospital with some kind of infection or virus but she's home and fine now. We also had a "microburst" -- a small tornado -- touch down a couple blocks away! Very intense week. Hope your summer has been pleasant!

Hi! Check your "ACCOUNT" setting. See if the picture drop-down-box says "Everyone" and I hope that'll take care of it. We've found homes for two of our "pampered dudes" and need to take them in for shots and neutering before handing them off to their new "daddy."

Thanks for asking! We're going to visit my folks in central Illinois. I've been *really* busy today. I hope your neighbor can take care of your puppy while you're gone. We have cat waterers and feeders so they're okay for the couple of days we'll be gone.

More rain? We've had *tons* of rain here in the Midwest! Good luck finding a home for your pets. We rescued a kitty last year from the home of a woman who had passed away, and she was so affectionate. I hated to let her go but one of my wife's friends had recently had a cat pass away and when we gave her Buffy, we could tell they were PERFECT for each other.
