Just to fill you in on part of my recent life, a copy of a msg I sent CatSuberalles last nite. I'll fill in more later:Yes, we're renting a very nice 2 br. apt. on the outskirts of Missoula which we use as a base for outings, travel, visits back & forth between the kids & grands. (We just got back from a soothing hot springs - a promised Valentine's Day gift from hubby.) Sooo much better than driving back & forth across the country & seeing the kids & grands only once or twice a year! We're still looking for a rural property, but now looking more for a camp/cottage/acreage to park our camper. Still have our property back in WV. along w. some relatives inc. 90-yr old f-i-l. Therefore, We're still traveling cross-country some, usually together but probably this spring hubby by himself. He wants to stay for an extended period to help his dad - who recently moved into a new home "down off the mtn." (120+ avg inches of snow!!) and to work on our property -hopefully to get it ready for sale. I love my f-i-l greatly (even had him in one of my lols -at least his backside & his 3 dogs) & he's a fantastic guy, but I just don't want/can't stay for 3 months or so. My recent medical issues have made us glad that we settled in Missoula where there is a great hospital w. an excellent cardiac unit. (Speaking of which, I'd better get to sleep - apt. in the morn!) Anyhow, we now have drs, a gym w. pool & classes, a church that feels like extended family, etc. One pet now - Rocky, my husband's Beagle/Gr. Shorthair mix. When we left the WMA to camp & move, I had to find my beloved gray, green-eyed Misty a new home. I cried & cried. Thankfully, with the local HS (where I had 2 friends) they were able to readopt her into a very loving home.
