Just posted to Emerald63 - I'm getting back on ICHC a little at a time - altho I haven't tried making lols again. (Kind of lost my heart for it after Nik crossed the Rainbow Bridge, then I had to find my Misty - pic is on my dashboard- a new home before we headed west almost 2 years ago) Not to be all gloomy - Hubby & I have settled in a nice apartment on the outskirts of Missoula while he looks for some rural property. We ended up setting up our "base" just abt. 3 miles from our younger son & his young family that includes 2 young grandsons. They have a "farmette" w. cows, calves, pigs, & chickens as well as a black Lab that's nutsy. Also, we have Hubby's Beagle/German Shorthair mix living with us, so I should post some pics soon. I'm going to the gym near here for circuit training & aqua-aerobics classes. Trying to get fitter, lose weight, build cardio, etc. Last spring, when I began, I couldn't figure out why I was so out of breath when I tried to do anything. Through an excellent new family doctor, followed by tests, & a very good cardiologist, it was determined that I had cardiac failure due to the aggressive chemo I had several years ago for BC. To make a long story short, with prayer (we've found a wonderful church), medicine, & exercise, my cardiac function went from 25-30% in May to 40-45% in August! I'm hoping that by my next tests in August 2015, it will have improved even more. (I believe that the average cardiac function is 70-75% with athletes having higher than that.) Anyhow, we feel blessed. We're only a 6 hr. drive from our older son, wife, & granddaughters - so we're relatively close to all our grands compared to the 5 day drive from WV that it used to take to visit. The Wyoming set has even been able to get up here twice for week-long visits. It will be great to hear from my Cheezfriends and keep making those lols!
