It's a three-week-old Syrian hamster in my hand -- the first time a human ever touched him! He sat himself up in my hand, propped his chin up on my thumb and stared at me so tenderly. Barney came here as a runt that wasn't thriving, but he did beautifully and was one of my best little buddies for three years. Wow -- what a big, wonderful family you have! I'm looking forward to hearing all about them! So good to meet you, and thanks for sharing Barney!
