Thx for teh gud wishiz! I get a bit stiffer every day, but otherwise not too bad! Have been back today to the town where I spent my teens and early twenties for a funeral. SIL died after a brief illness with cancer - she was only 65. Don't know how my brother will cope - he too is diabetic and has had severe eye complications and relied on her to keep him on the straight and narrow.
"abcess makes the heart grow - " no, that's not it. "Pleh" is putting it mildly. Just got back from a long day trip and feeling tired...hundreds of miles later, sleep comes suddenly. Narcoleptic cat says "get well soon."
Um...chicken soup is wonderful on raw days, but isn't that a bit drastic? I can just imagine the Energizer Bunny running in circles around your heart. "Alive & ticking," indeed.
"Finally, it's raining...snow in the hills...was pretty cold when I took out the garbage" - could be worse. You could be in Seattle. ;) (had a foot of snow)
Sorry, I was being facetious (the "be nice" part). I'm not much younger than yp, so insofar as Bonnie is concerned the "honorary Mum" is in the heart. I'll pass the message on via emayo.
Hi grama, and belated happy birthday! Hope it was a good one. Take care and God bless ... :-)
Aw, shucks...thanks. but...Now, now, be nice to Bonnie. She's my honorary Mum, you know. Wish I could come too, but rambling 'round the country is the longest of longshots for me right now.
Hm...chirpy "YesPlis" only goes so far. Might be able to help. Bonnie will tell you how well we worked together remotely...pls emayo when you are ready.
OCC kitteh says; I hate typos that make me sound like a rube. Correction: "you'll need to ask _your_ lovely daughter..."
We'll hold on for dear life! (to gray cells) You'll need to ask you lovely daughter if she can answer "i can has pictures on my new computer" in the affirmative. ("YesPlis"!)
Good thing he's not hugging a tiger ;) http://cheezburger.com/View/5678459904 Hugz Andie
Sure, copy the pictures again if you have the flash drive. Not understanding your Favorites issue. Were those ever transferred to the new computer? If YesPlis saved them to the flash drive, they should be recoverable...but I understand the overwhelmed feeling all too well. :holds gwgs to keep brain cells firmly anchored:
Yay! You're welcome, and thanks for the good wishes. re pictures, browse over in _Windows_ Explorer (on your computer) to the pictures. Right-click on any one of them and choose "Properties." If there is a tab in the properties dialog that says "Shortcut," that is not the actual file but a shortcut to the old file, which is no longer available; hence the error message. In other words, YesPlis may have accidentally clicked "Copy Shortcut" instead of "Copy." Pass this on and ask her if that's possible.
Halp! It's your birthday, almost forgot - just as I predicted. Wayminnit...that counts as remembering, doesn't it? :sheepish: Happy Birthday! "Many lol-y returns." ...and don't forget the how-to tip in my previous message. Best, cua.
Oh my goodness ITZ YUR BURFDAE!!! I came by to ask for an extra collectible but first must wish you a WONDROUS Birthday and I hope your Family and Friends treat you like a Queen!!! On the collectible front...would you part with your extra bandaid from the very first set of collectibles? I have one but I need it for a Friend. Again HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
