It took the new owners a very long time to give us this beta after they took away the advanced builder entirely. I have a feeling that it's what we will have from now on. They've shown no signs of modifying it in any manner. They seem interested in the sections of the site that attract younger folks, and I'm not even sure if all of the Animals section will stay around.

I saw your messages to Chris10a. Try another browser. Although the beta works for many people in Chrome, it wouldn't for me no matter what I changed. Don't waste time asking ICHC IT anything because they are no help at all. I now use Firefox when I want to use the beta, although I avoid it much of the time, but it does work for me in Firefox. Do you have an ad blocker? That might keep viruses away. I use Adblock Plus in both Chrome and Firefox. It's an extension that can be added to each of those browsers. There is no fee involved. Good luck!

Compared to what we had, this builder is very primitive. Have you worked out how to change size of your text? Begin a caption, and you'll see yellow corners; you cn grab those to stretch or squeaze rhe size. It's not as convenient as the old method : ( And we're limited to just a few basic colors. Lots of unhappy cheezpeep! Maybe instead of Thanksgiving, we can do 'Grumplaining' ( = grumpily complaining ) at the end of the month?

Ohai. FORM LETTER FOLLOWS: For five-plus years I have not added friends and I know I will regret changing course for all the reasons I've given in the past, but here goes: welcome.
