Hey MissGrumpy! Your foster goggie sounds sweet ev en if he does cause trouble sometimes. :) Sounds like you have a very busy schedule! Hope the foster goggie helps you unwind at the end of the day. The new year has been good so far for me. Classes and internship recruiting/prep have been keeping me very busy but I have a summer internship now! I'll be doing management consulting in Dallas and I'm very excited. Now I only need to focus on my classes and clubs, so my load's a bit lighter. :) Most of my homework is group projects this semester. Do you have much homework? Have a wonderful weekend!

Glad to hear the new year is treating you well so far! =) How are the interviews going? I'm fostering a goggie this month and he's always thinking of new ways to surprise and, sometimes, annoy me ;) he's a real cutie though. I've been having some trouble balancing going to class, studying, and working at the hospice, but it seems to work out for the most part. Hope you're having a lovely day! =)

Thanks for the Happy Cat Fireworks! Glad you like the wooden shoes. :) 2012 is going well so far- been busy spending time with friends before classes start again next week and also starting interviews for summer internships (early, I know!). How have you been?

By MissGrumpy on Jan 5, 2012 at 10:12 PM

Thank you for the Wooden Shoes! I always wanted a pair of these ^^ I'm glad you liked the holiday greetings my goggies brought to you. =) I hope 2012 is treating you well so far and wish you and your family all the best for the new year!

Lulu sounds like he was a great dog and had a good long life with you. Thinking of you as I know it's difficult to say goodbye. Hope you had a good weekend.

By MissGrumpy on Dec 10, 2011 at 5:26 PM

Thank you, dear. That really means a lot to me. It's not like it was unexpected or anything, but that doesn't change the fact that I miss him terribly. Lulu was sixteen and a half, he was blind and deaf, but his nom detection and devouring system worked perfectly until the day before he passed away. He had a good life and he was loved, and I'm sure he knew that when he decided it was time for him to go to goggie heaven. So I think I'll be okay =) Thank you again. Have a lovely Sunday.

I am so sorry to hear about Lulu, MissGrumpy! My thoughts are with you. Sending you lots of hugs.

Best of luck for your finals! My exam (on perception, memory, and neuroscientific methods) went pretty well, but it seems so insignificant now. Lulu, one of our goggies, passed away on Saturday, and I can't even begin to describe how sad I am and how much I miss him. I haven't really been able to do anything these past couple of days except cry or try hard not to cry.

By inspiredbychaos on Dec 5, 2011 at 10:37 AM

Aww I hope you get to come visit BookPeople sometime! It's a wonderful place and even better since your good friend works there! Hope your exam goes/went well today-- what were you being tested on? I too have been using ICHC as cheer-up material as I'm finishing up my semester. We have finals this week so I spent most of the weekend studying. Hope you had a great weekend!

By MissGrumpy on Dec 2, 2011 at 2:05 AM

My pleasure! =) I still can't wrap my head around the fact that you live so close to BookPeople and that you can go there anytime you like - that is just so cool to me :D I've never been, and I haven't seen my friend in 7 years! My week has been absolutely crazy so far. I've got an exam coming up on Monday, and I'm worried I won't be able to get as much studying done as I should. It's a good thing I can visit ICHC anytime for some cheering up ;) have a lovely weekend!

Thanks for the Pug Life and the Internet on CD! Hope your week is going well.

Hi MissGrumpy! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I love BookPeople! It's a great place to browse and hang out. :) My fiance and I live just across the lake from it, so I try not to go too often or else I will have too many books. :) Hope you had an excellent holiday weekend!

By MissGrumpy on Nov 20, 2011 at 3:30 PM

That sounds really wonderful! :) and kudos to your fiancé, that's so awesome!! Nothing like celebrating reaching a goal that you've worked hard for for a long time. Oh, by the way, I'm curious: have you ever been to BookPeople on N. Lamar? One of my bestest fwendz works there =) have a lovely week!

By inspiredbychaos on Nov 16, 2011 at 4:17 PM

Aww... I am always so happy to hear when you get a chance to spend time with your goggies! My weekend was great- Friday night my fiance and I went out to an upscale Southern restaurant (aptly named Moonshine) to celebrate his passing the TX bar. :) Hope your weekend with your puppies was great!

By MissGrumpy on Nov 13, 2011 at 2:29 AM

Ohai there =) Thanks so much for the Sound Like A Boss collectible! I've been meaning to ask you about your finals a while back - glad to hear everything went well! I'm at my mom's place right now (for the first time in over 2 months) and enjoying our goggies' company :) hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Thank you for the Lady Paw Paw! You completed my set. :) Hope you are having a great weekend MissGrumpy!!

By inspiredbychaos on Sep 4, 2011 at 8:14 AM

You are welcome! Happy to help you out and give you your favorite from the set, no less. :) The hospice is lucky to have you and it sounds like it has been a very intense and moving experience. Hope you are having a wonderful long weekend! I've got midterms this coming week (our first semester is on a quarter system) so I'm doing a lot of studying but there's been some time to relax in there too- yesterday it was in the 80's in the morning (cool-ish for here for this time of the year) so my fiance and I went to a tasty restaurant where we had brunch outside. :) Hope you are doing well!

By MissGrumpy on Aug 28, 2011 at 4:11 PM

Thanks a lot for the Me Dusa! It's definitely my favorite in the Me Gusta set ^^ and thank you so much for your kind words - I agree, working at the hospice is the most intense thing I've ever done. It's incredibly sad sometimes, but there are so many wonderful moments as well, and I've met more kind-hearted people in these past few weeks than I have in my entire life. I'm so lucky to have this opportunity, and I'm extremely grateful for it. Have a beautiful Sunday =)

By inspiredbychaos on Aug 15, 2011 at 3:06 PM

Lucky coincidence indeed! Thanks for the Chairman Meow! :) I actually know of a cat named Chairman Meow- my fiance's friend in England owns her. That's awesome that you are working at a hospice- my mom worked as a hospice nurse for a few years and it was probably one of the most intense but rewarding jobs she's had so far. You can help your patients and their families so much during such a difficult time- I salute you as we need good people to help those who won't be around much longer. Hope you had a great weekend!

By MissGrumpy on Aug 13, 2011 at 10:53 PM

Thank you! =) I don't mind you asking at all! I work at a hospice, which is something I've wanted to do for quite a while now. This first week has been really intense, but for the first time in ages I can't wait for the weekend to be over so I can go back to work! ^^ Oh, and thanks for the Burgers Away collectible! That particular kind of LOL-a-ganda certainly works on me ;) And just when I was going to check what I could send you in return, I found an extra of the only collectible you still needed ^^ talk about lucky coincidences! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! =)

By inspiredbychaos on Aug 12, 2011 at 8:01 AM

Best of luck at the new job and now worries about getting back to me! Glad to hear you are liking the new gig. If you don't mind me asking, what is it? I sent you a Burgers Away to help fuel your Friday. :)

By MissGrumpy on Aug 10, 2011 at 10:37 PM

I'm glad my goggie made you laugh ^^ Thank you for the Rainbow Derp! And sorry for the late reply - I started a new job on Thursday, and my head is crammed with information and new impressions, so I'm exhausted all the time. It's wonderful though =) hope you're doing well!

By inspiredbychaos on Aug 3, 2011 at 7:50 PM

Also forgot to add that I laughed really hard thinking of your dog exaggerating for noms. :)

By inspiredbychaos on Aug 3, 2011 at 7:49 PM

Thanks for the Apple Derp MissGrumpy! I sent you the Rainbow Derp to help with your bronies collection. Hope your week is going well!
