My sister and her boyfriend also play games next to each other like you and your fiance. :) Despite having worked on video games for 4 years before I came back to school, I don't play many since I'm pretty bad at them but my fiance likes to play esp on his computer. Back when I was in LA some of my friends were big into board games-- definitely a fun way to spend time together. Hope you are having a great weekend! PS Thank you for the Drink Like a Boss and the Sounds like a Boss! I kept getting the same ones over and over this week.

Oh, board games! That was so long ago I played... I play a lot of Diablo 2 on the computer though. And my fiancé sits next to me playing Battlefield 3 now. We should really get some good old board games, much more social!

Glad to hear you got a Saturday off finally! Nothing like not having something for a while (like a free Saturday) to make you appreciate how good it is. My weekend was great- less homework than most weekends so I had time to see my sister and spend time with my fiance. We just got a couple new board games (Dominion and SmallWorld) and had fun trying them out!

Oooh Belgium and Germany- very cool! Glad you had a good time. Your childhood animal collection sounds amazing! Where did you keep them all? Were most of them friendly or were they more wild animals? I bet it was fun but a lot of work-- makes sense that your father is down to just a dog and a cat now. I like your plan of getting either a marmoset or just lots of cats. :) Great pic of your kitteh with your fiancée! Did you get Accuser into ICHC? Hope you are having a wonderful week!

I had a great time in Belgium and Germany. :) Nice to hear about the animals. I grew up with a father who imported exotic animals and we had everything imaginable in the smaller sizes... small kangaroos, small monkeys (marmosets), small bears (kinkajous and coatis), skunks, baby cayman crocodiles, fennec foxes, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, reptiles etc etc... Myself had a horse and a guinea pig. My favourite was always the family cat though. :) Nowadays he only has a dog and a cat because he's getting too old I guess. If I lived on the countryside again I might get a cottonear marmoset but I would probably "settle" with a lot of cats. :P :)

Have a great time on your long weekend! I'm holding the forts here on Cheezburger until you are back. :) Friday night we stayed over at my fiance's mom's cousin's ranch, which is about an hour outside Austin and he keeps small herds of live prey animals on his property (i.e. impalas, zebras, elk, wildebeests). We had a great time with my fiance's family and seeing the animals was super cool! Then it was back into town and time to catch up on the phone with some of my LA friends and study. All in all a good weekend. Hope you have had a good trip! Also love the new profile pic- is that your cat and your fiance taking a nap?

Thank you! :D I brought him to a restaurant because he had a birthday and afterwards we went to a square outside and sat down on a bench. He asked me if I was cold and I said yes. He said he might be able to warm my heart then. So he went down on his knees, popped the question and took out a pretty box. It was a silver necklace with a crystal heart, because he didn't want do get me a ring, he said he never sees me wearing rings and he wanted me to wear it often. :)
