Ah, okay!

You don't need chemistry for engineering, although many have to take it as a freshman requirement. The calculations involved are the most basic. Chemistry is perfect practice for understanding "unit cancellation".

By DeathByCupcakes on Apr 8, 2014 at 11:51 AM

Really? You need chemistry for engineering? But I already signed up for Physics C!

By jimmyz98 on Apr 7, 2014 at 10:02 PM

Physics. Trig. Pre-calc, which ties in well with physics. If you can master canceling units in chemistry to solve the problems, engineering isn't all that difficult.

I'm thinking of taking a engineering major when I get to college, what courses do you recommend?

By jimmyz98 on Apr 7, 2014 at 4:11 PM

I work on checking designs and drawings for all the products. It's a little bit of everything. Engineering, design, drafting, building, checking.

That's really cool! What do you do at your job?

By jimmyz98 on Apr 1, 2014 at 9:08 PM

:) Thank you! I have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and I had 9 years of classical training from the age of 5. I just started a new job in engineering today :) Thank you for the support.

I would subscribe a millions times to you if I could. Unfortunately, I do not have a YouTube account, but your videos are amazing regardless! Btw, are you majoring in math or something?

By jimmyz98 on Mar 31, 2014 at 10:50 PM

Thank you :) I just posted another video on youtube. I think if my stuff is going to go viral, this video I just posted is the one. It's got everything included. A very clear and brief explanation, the full version of the song, and the sheet music with the digits included. I'm hoping. Thank you again for watching and your support :)

Let me know when it's updated!

By jimmyz98 on Nov 21, 2013 at 12:34 PM

Indeed, and there is so much beauty in nature. I'm glad you enjoyed :)

By DeathByCupcakes on Nov 19, 2013 at 12:26 PM

Yeah, nature does tend to fall into set patterns. Fibonacci, golden ratios... It's funny how when people what to achieve perfection, they usually tend to look towards nature. Here's a video, but it's more about science than math: http://video.pbs.org/video/2365105192

My whole life I pondered the idea of a "perfect melody"... a melody so awesome that everyone would appreciate it. I always wondered if there is such a thing ... I never thought it would be encoded in pi base 12, but that makes a lot of sense. No man could write a perfect melody ... only the world itself.

These are really cool! What inspires you to make this?

By jimmyz98 on Nov 15, 2013 at 5:18 PM

Pi song is longer now. 160 digits. Still flows like water. Don't forget to thumbs up and share. Much appreciated :) http://cheezburger.com/56267009

That. Was. Awesome!

This will prolly make you LOL and might even blow your mind. This is a parody of Michael Blake's Pi song http://cheezburger.com/53793793

By jimmyz98 on Jun 10, 2013 at 12:33 PM

I'm glad. Please share with everyone you know who understands the math side of it. Why Pi looks different in my vid. Thanks again, my friend.

damn, that was amazing! it usually takes a lot to impress me, but that hit the spot!

If you understand number BASE systems, this will absolutely blow your mind, forever. http://cheezburger.com/51079169
