Not bad, mate. Summer's almost upon us - in other words, serious beer drinking season. I don't touch the macro brews (Budweiser etc) but they have heaps of outstanding craft ales over here. Still wish I could get Mountain Goat or Little Creatures in the states.

Too close to call right now, I reckon. I'm politically cynical for the most part (shock horror right?) and think most politicians are bludgers (plus, problems are so huge here I don't think anyone can really sort things out) - but the right wing religious types are rolling out the most ridiculous charges against Obama. Next 2 weeks promise to be nuts.

Believe me, Kat, we talk a lot about moving back to Victoria, but it's tough with family in-law connections, careers, house etc. 'Course if the economy here does go all sideways again moving back to Oz may become a lot more likely.

Bloody hell, Kat, if Mitt and his VP teenage mental defective really do away with Medicare, he'll not have many friends here either. About 40 million people over here have no health cover whatsoever, and Ryan said a while back he wants to end what little is in place. The Mormon Rombot immediately distanced himself from Ryan's craziness after selecting him to be his running mate, but who knows what insanity the two of them might cook up.
