Doing great. My second story apartment in Jackson has proven to be good physical therapy. I still need to get my left leg cut off and put back on correctly, though. That will set me back a couple of months. The job is great, too. I've taken over reporting to DWR for grant reimbursements and I've been working on a 17 mile pipeline project. How about you?

AOCH isn't sitting up any more for now. He's going into two more surgeries, one tonight for the filter to try and stop blood clots in his leg from moving up to the lungs and worse. Then tomorrow, they'll be taking him back in to work on his left knee again. The surgeon thinks he can do better for James in the long haul. http://cheezburger.com/8217149184

I talked to James today on the phone. He was feeling better which was certainly good news. I heard they moved him again tonight as his condition has improved and no longer requires the same level of care. Unless something crazy happens I'll be going up to see him on Monday.

AOCH UPDATE: He's been MOVED!!! After the six hour surgery on his leg yesterday, James was still in recovery last night at 10pm (his time). Got to speak with him briefly and he sounds in good spirits. He said they would be moving him to a totally different unit and there will be another surgery for his hip on Thursday after which he'll be moved yet again. So, any further cards etc., might want to hold off until he's a bit more settled. We're looking into seeing if they're going to forward anything coming in for him (I expect they will). That's about all for now. The surgery went well although his O2 levels were low. He was running the nurse to death needing bed adjustments, warm blankets and ice chips, LOL. He was having issues with the bed because it was an older model they had to dig out of storage just for him 'cause he's such a large fella. LOL....that's "our" cowhand.

Has a Tibial Plateau Fracture and will need a plate and screws. Surgery is on Tuesday. I'm asking all his friends to rally and send love n' support. Pass the word, okay?
